types of poetry

A eulogy poem is a special form of prose written to offer comfort to the bereaved. Since death is a certain fact that in most cases would cause grief and bereavement to the deceased's family, the existence and creation of eulogies is also certain.

A love poem does not need to be well written, it comes from the heart. Identify the verse grouping you will use for your poem. Just sit down and list all the reasons why you think they're special.

The poem reads similar to many of his love sonnets, and in fact has been debated for some time as many believe it is in fact a love poem. The poet usually describes his lover as a Goddess or an angel. It is the flow and pace of poetry along with the tempting way the outcomes aren t revealed until the end that can make them so pleasurable to listen to.

Using poetry to help with grief, to express love or pain and to memorialize a friend or family member is very powerful and will be appreciated by others who have experienced a loss. Many love poems are short and simple, evoking vivid imagery and speaking to the details of a lover.
