famous poems

Poetry has a way of pointing more directly at reality, rather than just defining it. It is useful to follow some standard conventions when writing about poetry.

A basic corner stone is to write a nice title for your poem. The heart speaks the language of love that is best expressed by poems. The first of those steps is to decide how you want to express your love.

Once you are absolutely sure what you want to say with the love poem you select, you should decide whose poetry best represents your feelings. The various websites offer sonnets and other poems for free. The reader is invited to share the writer's perspective in an emotional way that allows a perspective to be heard with something other than ears.

A lovely memento to keep over the years is a poem. What a treasure the poem will be.
