memorial poems

When I lost my mother there was no way on earth that I could have written a shopping list never mind poems for funeral tributes. Spiritual poetry then, is more about enlightenment than belief.

Funeral poems serve like an ode to the person who died. Their poems are masterpieces and treasured by posterity. A lot of people choose to read passages from the Bible rather than a poem because they think that this is more appropriate.

Everything Shakespeare wrote was written in verse, including his numerous plays. There's tons of love poems of all kinds online that seem to be written just for you and your occasion. Poems ranging from heartfelt and sad to lighthearted and even funny have been written by amateur and professional poetry writers to put words to the feelings that are expressed after someone has died.

Either way, use beautiful stationary, if you are reading it first, you can then give the poem as a gift. What better opportunity could there be in life to appreciate the flowing beauty of poetic words than on a wedding day.
