troubled relationships poems

Poems have been written about nearly every topic under the sun, and next to love and death, friendship poems are among the most commonly read, written, and shared in the world. Not everyone has the gift of language that William Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson did in their lives, but everyone can study and share their words with that special someone.

When I use to read a poem, and I assume when many people do read a poem, and when I do read a poem myself, nowadays, besides my own, I like most people want to know what the heck it means. If you are not normally the type of person who gives out poems, this is something that will truly be unexpected. Even if your poem won't win any literary prizes, the person you present it to will most likely treasure it as if it were composed by one of the great Romantic poets.

A poem because it comes from the heart, is a fitting tribute to the dead and the living to be remembered in time. Romantic poems that bring out the best in people's hearts are still written even though they do not receive the same attention that they used to. Poems ranging from heartfelt and sad to lighthearted and even funny have been written by amateur and professional poetry writers to put words to the feelings that are expressed after someone has died.

Find funny poems about marriage and love and include those for a laugh or two. Your poems don't have to be miserable or sad.
